Diego Costa discussed Antoine Griezmann's move to Barcelona, saying that there was no hard feelings between the two players.

“His dream was to play alongside Messi and Luis Suárez. We all know the player he is...Griezmann wanted a new experience and he’ll find that in Barcelona. I didn’t try to convince him to stay but if he had asked my opinion I would have told him that everybody should try new things,” said Costa in a YouTube interview.

Costa also talked Griezmann's replacement Joao Felix, saying that the Portuguese playmaker has something special. 

"He likes to play the final ball and that’s great for me. To have a player who can turn a first touch into an attack gives you an advantage to look for spaces. Everybody can see he’s got something special about him. It’s something we needed, not just me but the team as a whole."

Barcelona purchased 16-year-old Pedri from Las Palmas for $5.4 million.

Pedri will be loaned back to Las Palmas. 

"He has something special, and a promising future awaits him. It's been a long time since I've seen a player like that here," said Jonathan Viera, who also returned to Las Palmas on loan. 

Sevilla completed a move for Javier Hernandez for $8.5 million.

The 31-year-old scored 17 goals in 63 games at West Ham.

Hernandez becomes Sevilla's 12th signing of the summer.

Bobby Duncan has moved to Fiorentina from Liverpool on a deal worth $2.1 million.

The move comes after Duncan's agent accused Liverpool of mentally bullying the 18-year-old striker.

Duncan scored 32 goals for the Liverpool youth team last season.

Matteo Darmian has moved from Manchester United to Parma for a $15.3 million fee.

The 29-year-old Darmian also signed a four-year deal with the club.

Darmian made just seven appearances for United last season.
